I am an attorney with an MBA. I have handled complex legal matters in various transactional practice areas focusing a majority of my time on business related matters and entertaiment law. I also have worked on many litigation matters, including white-collar FCPA investigations and have a keen interest in continuing to develop my litigation acumen. I have a deep passion for the sports and entertainment industry and enjoy watching television programs from all over the world. I am admitted to practice law in New York and Missouri.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2002 with a BA in Corporate Finance. I then went on to get my MBA from Missouri State University with an emphasis in Management and Sports Management. I then attended the University of Dayton School of Law, where I graduated cum laude, ranked 10/179 and was a Publications and Production Editor on the Law Review.
After completing law school I joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in New York. I also continued to develop my passion for the sports and entertainment industry by joining the Entertainment, Intellectual Property & Sports Committee of the New York County Lawyers' Association and by taking numerous IP related CLEs providing insight to current trends and practices.
I later joined Stephen David Entertainment, an end-to-end production company based out of New York City, as a legal consultant, where I oversaw all business negotiations and legal activity across production and distribution channels. In addition, I handled the recruitment and orientation of interns and production assistants. I also developed and implemented a company-wide social media networking initiative that increased the company’s current project exposure.
I recently left my position at SNR Denton (formerly Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP) in the Real Estate - Construction practice group in St. Louis to pursue other opportunities.
